For most verandas against the rear of the house, no. We check your situation against the permit-free rules and tell you honestly if you do need one — and help with the application if so.

A veranda can be built from about 2 metres deep upward. On site we measure the available width, the clearance under gutters and windows, and where the posts can land.

Almost always — brick, rendered, timber-frame or a cavity wall all work with the right fixing. Where a wall can't carry the load, we add a front-and-back post frame instead.

You pick the product, then set the size, roof, colour and walls and watch it update as you go. When you're happy you send it to us and we turn it into a detailed, fixed-price quote.

Yes. The price in the quote is the price on the invoice, provided the site matches what we measured. Any options are listed separately so you can see what each one costs.

No. The design, the on-site measurement and the quote are all free and without obligation. You only pay once you've signed.

There's no deposit. Payment terms are set out in your quote and the final payment is due after installation and handover.

Yes. Every structure is calculated for the wind and snow loads that apply in your region under the Eurocode. Larger spans get an extra beam or post rather than a thicker guess.

Powder-coated aluminium — a rigid alloy that doesn't rot, rust or need repainting. Profiles are cut to size and pre-assembled in our own workshop.

Glass gives maximum light and a sleek look; polycarbonate is lighter, insulates better and heats up more slowly. Both are made to measure — see the veranda page for the trade-offs.

Any RAL colour. Anthracite (RAL 7016), cream-white (RAL 9001) and black are the most common; we powder-coat to match your window frames if you send us the code.

Most verandas are placed, cleaned up and handed over level in a single day. Larger structures or added walls can take two.

10 years on the structure and the powder coating, 2 years on electrical parts such as lighting and screens. Service visits are done by our own team.

Always. Our profiles are designed so you can add side walls, sliding glass walls or a louvred roof years after the veranda goes up.

Rinse the frame and glass a couple of times a year and clear leaves from the gutter. The coating needs no treatment and moving parts are self-lubricating.
